" Lusitanos Riding Centre is a little piece of tranquility nestled amongst the most stunning countryside of beautiful Portugal and boasting the most fabulous views! Susana is a wonderful host nothing is to much trouble and she is a fabulous cook and you definitely will not leave hungry! The horses are delight and beautifully schooled and a pleasure to be around, João takes care of his horses to a very high standard which is also replicated in his lessons where he endeavours to get the very best out of horse and rider which, at times I think maybe quite trying for him but he's very positive and always has a smile and joke!If your thinking of a riding holiday in this beautiful country on fabulous horses with just the best hospitality and accommodation then do not hesitate you'll have a fabulous time!"

" From the moment I arrived the welcome and hospitality was second to none. Susana is the ultimate host, her cooking is fantastic and beautiful meals served every day. Nothing is too much trouble and by the end of the week I felt like part of the family. Jo^ao is a true horseman the horses are Grand Prix level but are gentle enough to allow children to ride them safely. The lessons were brilliant and I learnt a lot. The horses are so well looked after and have THE very best of care. The love Susana and Joao have for them is obvious from the start. I will definately be back . I should also mention the beautiful accomodation and the farm. The pool area is tranquil set in beautiful gardens with plum trees, figs, almonds etc etc. Lisbon is 40 minutes away with lots to see and do, if you can tear yourself away from the riding centre.
